Where real journeys get found.
Every other directory ranks by follower count. Verus ranks by something that can't be bought — how many real people someone has actually inspired to start their own journey. This is where brands find genuinely engaged creators, and where creators get discovered for the work, not the highlight reel.
Run Clubs
Local, nationwide and virtual — find people who train together, with direct links to join.
Ranked by real impact
The Inspiration Chain only counts real people who started a journey because of someone else — no bots, no buying followers.
Browse by journey
Filter by what someone's actually doing — running, cycling, weight loss, and more — to find your people.
Built for brands & creators
Genuinely engaged audiences, straight from social links on each profile — no DMs required to find them.

Start Your JourneyFind people by the race they're doing
The other way into the directory. Every race page lists the athletes who have said they are running it — what they're chasing, and how long they have left. These are the next ones on the calendar.
A directory that can't be gamed.
Follower counts measure reach. They don't measure whether anyone changed what they were doing because of you. Discovery only counts the second thing.
01
Ranked by people inspired, not followers
Every Verus profile records who named it as their reason for starting. That number can't be bought, botted or inflated — someone else has to create their own profile and point at yours. It is the only ranking signal Discovery uses.
02
Filtered by what someone is actually doing
Journeys are typed — running, triathlon, weight loss, recovery, and more — so you can find people whose training genuinely resembles yours rather than scrolling a feed of strangers.
03
Fundraising surfaced honestly
Where someone is raising money, the real figure from their fundraising page is shown alongside the cause. Nothing is estimated and nothing is rounded up.
Find athletes where you live
Every county page lists the athletes from that county alongside its races — the people training for the same start lines you are.
What's behind a profile
Not a feed. A record: the chapter someone is in, the promise they made this morning, the races on their calendar, and the reason they started — written once, on day one, and locked.
Common questions
What is Verus Discovery?
It's the public directory of Verus athletes — everyone who has made their journey public, searchable by name, handle, journey type or the charity they're raising for.
How are athletes ranked on Discovery?
By how many real people have named them as their inspiration for starting. Someone has to create their own Verus profile and credit yours for that number to move, so it can't be bought or automated the way a follower count can.
Do I need an account to browse Discovery?
No. Discovery, every race guide and every calculator on Verus are free to use without signing up. An account is only needed to create a profile of your own.
How do I appear on Discovery?
Claim a handle and complete a profile. Once you have a journey set, you appear in Discovery automatically — and anyone who names you as their inspiration is counted from then on.
Can brands use Discovery to find athletes?
Yes. That is part of why it ranks by people inspired rather than audience size — it surfaces genuinely engaged athletes rather than the largest accounts, which is a different and usually more useful thing.
