Where T100 Gold Coast starts and finishes
T100 Gold Coast starts at Broadwater Parklands, Marine Parade, Southport (start/transition); finish at Surfers Paradise Esplanade and finishes at The Broadwater, Southport. We haven't been able to place those on a map accurately enough to show one — a pin in the wrong place is worse than no pin.
These are the start and finish points, not the route. Verus doesn't hold course files for this race, and drawing a line between two pins would be a guess you might end up training on.

Race Day Info & Checklist
On the day
- Race pack (2026, 100km): a wristband, bib, a sticker sheet (helmet, seatpost, bag-drop and transition-bag stickers), a swim cap, race-number tattoos for both arms, and three transition bags (Swim-to-Bike black, Bike-to-Run red, After-Race white). Olympic entrants get no transition bags — gear is laid out neatly by the bike instead. The timing chip is issued separately at bike check-in.
- Timing chip fee for not returning it: US$75 if you withdraw and don't hand it in pre-race, or US\$115 if you finish or DNF and don't return it at the finish line — two different figures depending on how the race ends for you.
- On-course nutrition (2026): Maurten Drink Mix and Energy Gels at both bike and run aid stations, plus water — one bike aid station per lap, four run aid stations per lap roughly 1.5km apart. No aid station in transition; the guide recommends starting the bike with two full bottles already loaded.
- Non-drafting bike leg: a 12m draft zone with 25 seconds to complete a pass. 2026 penalties: 100km 2 minutes for each of a first and second offence before disqualification on a third; Olympic 1 minute before disqualification on a second — a single warning rather than two.
- Free tram travel for registered participants between Broadwater Parklands and Surfers Paradise from around 4am to 6pm on race days — show your bib to board; bikes are not allowed on board.
- The 100km distance (only) doubles as a qualifier for the Qatar T100 Age-Group World Championships — top 10 per age group and gender in 2026.
- A finisher medal is awarded to every 100km and Olympic finisher, with an optional engraved "iTAB" plate add-on. FinisherPix provides free race photos for 100km finishers.
- Bikes must be checked in the day before racing — there is no race-morning bike check-in.

Transport
The Gold Coast light rail (G:link) connects Southport and Surfers Paradise; combined with the free race-day tram service for competitors, transport between the start and finish areas is straightforward without a car.
Named car parks near the start (Carey Carpark) and finish (Bruce Bishop Carpark) — the free race-day tram is the recommended way to move between the two venues, running from around 4am to 6pm.
The bike course closes roads through Southport and along the Broadwater to Paradise Point; the run closes sections of Main Beach and the Surfers Paradise Esplanade.
Spectator guide
Broadwater Parklands covers the swim, transition and the bike laps; the Surfers Paradise Esplanade covers the finish and the lapped run — the free tram makes both easy to reach from one another.
The free competitor tram (bib required to board) is also usable logic for spectators via the G:link light rail to move between Southport and Surfers Paradise.
