Running in March.

March grew up on a low 'island' of higher ground in the Fens and became a major Victorian railway town; it's now Fenland's administrative centre. The old course of the River Nene runs straight through the middle of town, still used by pleasure boats and a narrowboat marina.

Runners in March don't need to travel for a club: March AC (March Athletic Club) is based right here.

March has its own parkrun, March parkrun, every Saturday at 9am — free, timed, and open to anyone. A West End junior parkrun (2km) also runs at the same West End Park venue on Sundays.

Where people actually run around March: River Nene (Old Course) riverside walk, March, Riverside Walk and Riverside Nature Trail, March, Woodman's Way, Hereward Way, Norwood Nature Reserve.
