A chalk-spring nature reserve of woodland, scrub and water just east of Trumpington, source of the Hobson's Conduit waterway. Reached on foot from Granham's Road, a permissive path from Foster Road, or the Shelford-to-Addenbrooke's cycle path (National Cycle Route 11).
Wandlebury Country Park (Gog Magog Hills)
Country park in the parish of Stapleford, about 3 miles south of Cambridge, built around an Iron Age hillfort. Roughly 8km of estate paths plus a well-known ~3/4-mile loop around the hillfort ditch and ramparts.
Roman Road (Worsted Street)
Scheduled monument — a near-2,000-year-old, dead-straight Roman road running roughly 10 miles from Worts' Causeway (edge of Cambridge) through Fulbourn towards Great Shelford and on to Linton/Horseheath. Now a public path popular with runners and cyclists.
